What would the World Look like if we Lived without Prejudice?
A free artist led workshop. Young people will have the opportunity to experiment with mixed media - combining drawing with painting, collage and lightweight sculpture. Artist Janice Rider will help them create art works that convey their individual response to prejudice. All art materials will be provided, however it would be helpful if participants could bring newspapers and magazines for collaging and most importantly to have looked at the website: www.equalityhumanrights.com/art in order to start thinking about the themes. All artwork created on the day will be photographed and entered into this year's award. Booking essential as places limited – call 0121 464 4912 or email lin.osborne@birmingham.gov.uk
