Digital Art
The art gallery provides an excellent opportunity to integrate creative uses of ICT. Children will use ICT to experiment with and investigate portraits or landscapes seen in the art gallery . A CD of resources will be supplied for follow up work. Paint Shop Pro will be the main software used for demonstrations and pupils' work. Digital art teaching sessions support Art KS2/3: "use a range of materials and processes including ICT... develop their ideas using ICT tools to ammend and refine their work and enhance its quality and accuracy..."

Digital art teaching sessions run for limited periods only (usually in the first half of the spring term). However the main body of the sessions has been collated into an easy to follow presentation which can be used as follow up work to the visit or simply to inspire your own digital art session in the classroom. Please note thaes are large files and may take a long time to download.
