Exploring
Myths in Art
This session combines History,
Art, English and Drama to produce
an enthralling journey through
the galleries looking at myths
in art. Several different paintings
and sculptures are explored,
with particular reference to
Greek mythology. A discussion
and comparison of the paintings
is followed by a chance for
children to write and perform
their own myth using costume
and props.
