Title: Museum Collections Centre
Title: Teaching Sessions

The new sessions have been created so that pupils can explore the collections and look at artefacts through new eyes in the unusual and exciting environment which the Centre provides.

Our sessions for Spring 2008 include;

1. The Great Egg Race
KS2 Science / D&T
Pupils pit their wits against their classmates, use a digital camera to record objects, work out which of our vehicles is most efficient and then build their own prototype vehicle to test their theories.

Curriculum links include;

  • KS2 Science Unit 4E – Friction
  • KS2 D&T – Designing skills and making
  • Also links with IT / Maths
