Large paintings for the mansions of the aristocracy, reflecting the taste for work of foreign artists, often acquried by English aristocrats on the 'Grand Tour' of Europe. Exhibits include works by fashionable Rome-based protraitists:
Pompeo Bantoni and Anton Von Maron; two famous view of Warwick castle by Canaletto; works by Boucher; Fuseli; Reynolds; Gainsborough; Hogarth; Ramsey; De Loutherbourg; Zoffany; Richard Wilson.
