Water comes from....

Origin

The water that flows through our taps comes from bore holes, reservoirs or natural springs like the one in the picture on the right. A spring is where water bubbles up naturally from the ground.

Two thirds of the world is covered by water. Two thirds of ourselves is made up of water. Water is necessary to sustain life in any form.

In Britain most people get their water from taps that carry specially treated water. However in rural areas water is obtained from lakes, rivers and wells.
