CT Scanning
CT scanning involves X-raying at many different angles and
causes no damage to the mummies. The scans reveal similarities and
differences in the ways in which these ancient Egyptians were mummified.

Mummification
By preserving the body, ancient Egyptians believed
it was possible for a person to live on in the afterlife. Only those
who could afford it had their body mummified.
