School Visits

Science at Soho

Take part in one of our exciting new interactive science sessions for KS2.
* Light - make a pinhole camera, play with lenses and much more.
* Measure for Measure - an interactive presentation about measuring time.
* Material World - a handling session looking at rocks, minerals and fossils.
* Dramatic Static - an interactive  presentation exploring the wonders of static electricity.
* Flower Power - a hands-on workshop looking at classification of plants. Includes lots of fun activities.

Plus a look around the historic Soho House, home of Matthew Boulton.

A House from the Past

Our very popular session for KS1 children is still available. Children can:

* discover the historic 200 year old house.
* dress up in replica clothes from the past.
* handle replica household objects that servants would have used.
* play with toys from the past.
* make a souvenir of their visit.

Science Week 20th-23rd March 2001

An exciting week of workshops on a watery theme. Investigate freezing with mini icebergs, play with salty solutions, make a cartesian diver to take home. Explore our 1912 Titanic Odyssy exhibition. Plus take a look around the historic Soho House.
